The numerical irreversibility of the bidimensional billiard -1376 particles- [L'irréversibilité numérique du billard bidimensionnel -1376 particules-].

These simulations have a duration of 513 time steps. At t=0 just one particle starts moving (on the right-hand side and halfway up). Between t=256 and t=257, all velocities are reversed. The reversibility of the computations depends on the number of particles:

192 particles: reversibility.

336 particles: non reversibility.

768 particles: non reversibility.

1376 particles: non reversibility.
